Following her graduation in spring of 2018, Amber has been working as a Research Lab Technician at the Multi-Ethnic Cohort (MEC) Lab under the Center for Genetic Epidemiology at USC. She works with human blood, saliva, and serum samples from subjects in the numerous studies the lab has undertaken to produce valuable genomic data for analysis. Amber plans on applying for computational biology graduate programs this fall. She has also been independently learning Python on the side.
